Designing Services that Scale

As the Professional Services portfolio expanded, creating and maintaining consistent customer-facing service offerings became increasingly complex. I developed governance, planning, publishing, and lifecycle management processes that enabled distributed subject matter experts to efficiently create, maintain, and continuously improve hundreds of service delivery assets while supporting significant portfolio growth and maintaining high quality standards.

Solution

Designed an end-to-end service development and publication ecosystem that standardized how Professional Services offerings were created, reviewed, approved, published, and continuously improved.

Working across Product Management, Professional Services, Marketing, Sales, Enterprise Architecture, and Customer Success, I established governance models, reusable templates, publication workflows, quality standards, and supporting documentation that enabled distributed subject matter experts to efficiently create and maintain customer-ready service offerings.

Rather than treating every service as a unique effort, I developed repeatable systems that dramatically reduced effort while improving consistency, scalability, and governance across the portfolio.

Business Impact
  • Enabled the Professional Services organization to expand its customer-facing service portfolio while maintaining governance and quality.

  • Standardized the design, review, and publication process for hundreds of customer-facing service assets.

  • Reduced time and effort required to introduce new service offerings through reusable assets and streamlined workflows.

  • Improved consistency, branding, and customer experience across all published services.

  • Strengthened collaboration between Product Management, Marketing, Professional Services, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Built scalable operational capabilities that continued supporting organizational growth over multiple years.

Business Challenge

As the Professional Services Practice Development organization expanded globally, new services were being introduced at an accelerating pace. Each offering required customer-facing documentation, consultant delivery assets, templates, governance, website updates, sales enablement, and coordination across multiple organizations. Without standardized service design practices, every new offering required significant manual coordination, creating inconsistencies, longer release cycles, and increased operational overhead.

The organization needed a repeatable approach for designing, governing, publishing, and evolving professional service offerings that could scale alongside business growth while maintaining quality and consistency.

What It's Like to Work with Me

"[Co-workers and Manager] would like to nominate Sheila for a Nailed It award. She has demonstrated our Hungry values in identifying the need for detailed reporting on the Solution Team s execution progress, product improvement tracking, and customer engagements and executing against our plan to deliver it.

She has built out the dashboards to report on this information and worked with each of the specific teams on how to populate the data and use the output. She has gone above and beyond working with the SaaS engineers to customize the reporting and building in automation to minimize the burden on the team to implement this and promote a light touch experience for all users.

Sheila is like the grease to the machine. Without her, we wouldn't have the visibility that we need to increase productivity, collaboration, and efficiency of the 30+ member team. The impact of her work is to make all of these people more productive."
